How are we already half way through May?! This year is going so quickly, I feel like every time I say that – another month is gone. Today’s post is all about the things I’ve been loving lately! Due to the change in weather, I’ve shaken up my wardrobe, as well as my beauty routine and skin care.
H&M and Zara Loafers
I have been on the hunt for a pair of loafers for the past two winters. I haven’t been able to find a simple, easy to wear pair – everything I found was either too ballet flat, or way over done. Now I have two pairs that I LOVE! I have a blush pink pair that are from Zara. I got them on sale, only $30 ish! They are synthetic, so won’t stretch which is a big plus of buying vegan friendly fashion. I also have a black patent pair from H&M, and I’m obsessed. They are the comfiest pair of shoes I own, I can wear them at work all day – no rubbing, no blisters. How insane is that?! Normally anything other than sneakers kill my feet, so I was super impressed.
Glassons have been killing the statement earring game lately! I have a few pairs now, and could seriously find an excuse to pick up so many more. My favourites have been these long silver chain earrings, with little moon and lightening bolt pendants on the ends. They are so easy to wear, obviously being so thin they can be worn casually with jeans and a t-shirt. For the price, Glassons are my go-to for accessories lately!
Cotton On Homeware
I went on the hunt for a blush pink/peach throw for my bedroom a couple of weeks ago and stumbled upon Cotton On. I have known they’ve done homewares for a while now – but never thought to look. Considering they had 30% off you know I was into it! I found this gorgeous pure cotton tassle throw for only $40! All of the homeware range at the moment is giving me serious Country Road vibes so if you love that style minus the price, definitely check it out.
MAC Cream In My Coffee Lipstick
The perfect warm brown lipstick that I have been looking for. I got this ages ago, but have barely worn it until recently. It’s a cremesheen so has a nice gloss to it, which is nice considering the colder weather is drying out my poor lips! I have been pairing this with natural skin and a golden highlight and loving the way it looks! (For those concerned, I am continuing to use up the last of my non-vegan makeup as throwing it away means it will spend the next 100 years in a landfill, which doesn’t sit well with me).
I seriously LOVED this tv show. Gotta admit though, in the beginning I really didn’t like Sophia. She is the complete opposite of me – unorganised, irrational and her ability to make terrible decision after terrible decision just really irked me! Haha! In the end, she pulled through and I can say I really learnt to love her. Yes I’m reading way too deep into a made up character. Soz.
Last but not least, I have been loving my new knitwear from H&M. They have so many amazing sweaters in at the moment, and so many with no wool in them which is great for me, or those who find wool itchy. I just think H&M have so much to choose from, whether you want a big chunky jumper or something a little lighter, they’ve got it all. They are really good quality for the price – so far, they are a great Autumnal wardrobe find!
What have you been loving lately?! Let me know in the comments, and thank you for reading!
