An Exciting Charlotte Tilbury Haul

Recently my darling father went back to our homeland in England and insisted I write him a list of things I wanted. This was easy as I already have a list as long as my arm, however, my sister works at Selfridges and can get some killer discounts so I chose things from brands that they stock. One of my faves is Charlotte Tilbury.

I’ve always eyed Charlotte Tilbury up, and have heard some great things about the products. I decided to go for some of her best sellers so I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed. I was super excited to try all of this out so I grabbed a makeup wipe and got rid of my makeup from the day and had a little play around, so here are my first impressions!

Matte Revolution Lipstick in Very Victoria

Not only am I stoked with the colour of this in person, as buying online is tricky, I know I’m gonna love the wear of it too. The formula is super creamy and goes on like a dream. The only thing I’ll say is this isn’t completely matte compared to a MAC lipstick. It doesn’t have a sheen to it, but it doesn’t really dry which could be great for winter lips.

Colour Chameleon in Dark Pearl & Champagne Diamonds

I’ve not tried these on my eyes yet but the swatch on my hands make me very excited! They are so buttery when you apply them, but feel powdery if you rub them in. This kind of formula and I get along very well as it doesn’t sink into my eyelids and smudge around.

Magic Foundation

I’m quite impressed with this considering after my dad got it for me, I watched a lot of bad reviews online. Most of them said the formula was thick and hard to blend. I found the opposite of this! This foundation applies like a tinted moisturizer, my skin just seemed to hold onto it really well and the coverage from a small amount was nice. It’s really buildable though, I tried a second layer and didn’t notice any cakey-ness.

Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder

This powder doesn’t reaaally airbrush the skin as it doesn’t add any coverage so it won’t blur out your blemishes or anything like that. However, it sat on top of my foundation really nicely and didn’t look powdery or flat. I could work products into my skin over the top of it nicely and so far so good! No oily-ness in my t-zone which is always a plus.

Have you tried any of these products?

Thanks for reading! xo
